Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th Generation

Looking for a new laptop? There are many brands in the market with different properties and styles. Today, we’re going to dissect the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th Generation.

We’ll discuss the most important aspects of this computer. Some of those aspects are the screen, battery, body, and tasks you can accomplish with it. Get to know the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th Generation here.

The Biggest Change: The Screen

If it’s a new model, it has to be different. The new Carbon 9th Generation differs from the Gen 8 in many ways. The most outstanding upgrade is the screen. Gen 9 has a 16x10 aspect ratio instead of the 16x9 of the previous generation.

And with a screen size increase also came a resolution increase. It’s great to see how the vertical space is being more considered than the horizontal space for new designs. Lenovo is known for providing choices, and this model is no exception. With Gen 9, you can choose between FHD+ (WUXGA) and UHD+ resolutions, as well as touch capability.

The Battery: A Major Feature

The Gen 9’s battery life is another must-notice feature. This battery lasts approximately 15.5 hours of continual use. If you work with your PC many hours per day, this Lenovo ThinkPad will be practical and efficient for you, even if you travel long hours.

A Small But Great Body

The X1 Carbon 9th Generation packs many amazing features in its small body. It only weighs 2.5 pounds and has a thickness of just over half an inch. It has a large screen, as well as the well-known Lenovo keyboard.

If you didn’t know, Lenovo’s keyboards are known to be the best in the business, and the X1 Carbon is no exception. This new generation comes with a new, larger touchpad with a larger hitbox, which means you won’t have to lift your fingers as much when moving across the screen.

Is the Gen 9 Good For Everything?

It may seem like this computer can be used for every task, but it’s not supposed to. The Carbon 9th Generation will work amazingly for general usage or business applications. However, integrating graphics won’t work for video editing or gaming.
