Imagine your favorite videogame; you love playing it, and you enjoy it like no one else. But suddenly, your console or PC becomes “too old” for you to play it. Or, maybe, the game becomes too outdated to play on your new console. Situations like these have happened to many Skyrim players over the years.

However, Bethesda said that they’re not playing games when it comes to meeting their users’ needs. Skyrim’s back with a new re-release that won’t leave any player out. Want to know more about their 10th-anniversary re-release? Keep reading!

Skyrim’s Basics

Don’t worry; we get that you may not know what The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is, even when its name is all over the internet every time a new re-release is out. So, we’re here to clarify it.

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a well-known fantasy RPG, released in November 2011. Skyrim has sold over 20 million copies worldwide across all platforms it’s been re-released on.

Skyrim has had numerous re-releases, so the number of copies sold is influenced by that. The game started a decade ago, and you could play it only on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition

A new re-release will be around soon. Bethesda announced this in a recent press release. This new re-release celebrates the 10th anniversary of the game that will be available for modern consoles and PC.

You can start searching for the new version as “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition.” It’ll release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on November 11th. This game release will come with additional content from Creation Club.

This game’s new re-release comes after the release of Skyrim: Special Edition, but for those who have that version, you’d still be getting three of the Creation Club modules.

The re-release is something great to keep talking about; however, gamers are eager to finally get The Elder Scrolls VI, which is on standby.
